Chili Pepper Pictures is currently a one-woman-wonder, producing commercial and narrative video content in the DFW area. Alyssa Ann Evans is a current Film & Media Arts Student at Southern Methodist University, who has written, directed, and produced several short films and is heading up pre-production for a feature length horror film to begin production this summer. She has also produced several commercial videos and has had experience with on-site film projects, such as baby showers, weddings, recitals, and plays.
Introduced, encouraged, and initially funded by her father (who has called her 'Chili Pepper' for as long as she can remember), Alyssa currently shoots video with a Sony PD-170 DV Cam. She edits with Final Cut Studio and prepares her screenplays with Final Draft. Her school projects, however, also allow her access to JVC cameras and Pro Tools.
Because of her diverse interests in the film making industry, Alyssa's commercial production is under the title 'Chili Pepper Pictures.' Her creative work, however, is distributed under 'Vine Entertainment Productions.' That production company does not yet have its own website, but it has a tab on this site.
